We don’t share many articles on this blog, but this one from Strong Towns really struck a chord. The difficulties we face with small business destruction from CV19, rebuilding our national identity and trust, and fixing the broken ways we have expanded our towns for 70+ years all seem to be forced into this moment in time. Finding places to start or creating ways to “see” the challenges and opportunities clearly can be difficult.
This article from the Strong Towns organization is a ray of light. They share simple yet powerful truths about key priorities in community development. These ideas don't solve all the problems, not even close. But this kind of approach can make a significant difference in how future generations live together. Let’s keep doing the best we can.
